*7*REAL MEN WEAR JEWELRY, TOO!/RAMONA MOORE

Men have been wearing amulets, cuffs, and creations made of metal and stone for centuries.

The High Priest wore a breastplate with the 12 sacred stones embedded in metal as a testament to their beauty and reverie.

While some men wore armor-like cuffs in battle to protect their arms and wrists, men in later years wore, and still wear, time-pieces with quartz crystals to power them. Sometimes they were adorned with turquoise, coral and other stones to make them one-of-a-kind pieces to be handed down from generation to generation.

The creativity of the western United States cowboy made donning a bolo tie a "thing" that replaced the "ho-hum" cloth tie. Adorned with all types of stones, the bolo tie is a "one of a kind," "signature piece that commands recognition in the "world of rocks."

The pictured necklace features a METEORITE PENDANT in Sterling Silver,

joined with CARNELIAN, HEMATITE, BLACK ONYX AND BLACK TOURMALINE BEADS.
